The Brooklyn Bridge, New York; The Brooklyn Bridge is an iconic suspension bridge that spans the East River, connecting the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn in New York City. It was designed by John A. Roebling and completed in 1883, becoming one of the most recognizable landmarks of the city.
The bridge stretches over 1.1 miles in length and stands 276 feet above the water, with two massive stone towers anchoring the cables that hold up the bridge. The towers are each over 270 feet tall, and their Gothic arches and intricate details make them a stunning sight to behold.
