The Dallas Arts District is a vibrant cultural district located in downtown Dallas, Texas. It is one of the largest urban arts districts in the United States and is home to some of the most important arts institutions in the country.
The district covers 68 acres and is bounded by Woodall Rodgers Freeway on the north, Ross Avenue on the south, St. Paul Street on the east, and Akard Street on the west. It features a mix of architectural styles, including modern and contemporary buildings, historic landmarks, and open green spaces.
Among the notable institutions located in the Dallas Arts District are the Dallas Museum of Art, the Nasher Sculpture Center, the Crow Museum of Asian Art, the AT&T Performing Arts Center, and the Meyerson Symphony Center. These institutions host a variety of exhibitions, performances, and events throughout the year, showcasing the best in visual and performing arts.

Robert is a self-taught, award-winning photographer whose passion for photography began in high school when he received his first camera as a Christmas gift. Specializing in landscape, outdoor, and sports photography, he enjoys sharing his images with family, friends, and on social media. His work has been published in local media and featured in a luxurious coffee table book sold throughout the Dallas Arts District. He has also earned numerous photography awards across Texas. After retiring from an enjoyable career at Southwest Airlines, Robert now loves traveling with his wife and capturing photographic memories of the beautiful places they visit around the country.
